So i woke up yesterday and checked my dA messages, reading this Hot topic article first: [link]

HOW EXCITE! Seems perfect for me, right?  But i was confused as to why i had to post a resume.  i'm not too comfortable placing my cell and address info online for anyone to see.  So i read the article again.  this is a contest for a scholarship, not just a trip to comicon.

Pyro has had nothing but terrible experiences in school, both highschool and college.  not at all due to workload, bullying, or any of the usual crap.  I repel teachers, i don't know how...  Every time i take a course with multiple teachers, i connect with about half of them, and the other half despise me for some reason.  Now i'm sure you're reading this and thinking 'oh pyro, you're just being paro'.  I so wish that was the problem.  Actually, i have a terrible habit of being naive, not even noticing shit like this until it's too late.  So, after i was kicked out of animation, i swore off post-seconday education for the rest of my life.

What was the point now?  Well, i'm going to apply to this contest.  i'm sure if have very little chance of actually winning, but worse case scenario, someone looks at my portfolio and says 'no'.  at least i got a pair of eyes attention for a few seconds.   Best case, i go to san fran comicon, and back to art school.

So...  this whole ordeal put me in a strange state yesterday, i walked away from my computer without even checking the rest of my messages.  My BF took care of my feels, even though he has bronchitis (AINT NO BODY GOT TIME FO DAT!), as i couldn't RP as anyone but myself.  But i'm back today, still a little off my game, but i'll do what i can!

i don't use sketchbooks anymore, i use a leatherbound folder where i swap out the paper as needed.  this makes it easier to scan, sort, and destroy bad drawings.  this is folder #3, but if we are assuming there are 100 pages in a sketchbook, i'm probably at.............. well, 200?

SKYRIM (or any elder scrolls game, Skyrim is favoured because of DRAGONS)

Both... :I  i lead a pretty balanced lifestyle.

OK folks.  i was pretty hyped to see Liam Neeson fistfight a wolf with bottles taped to his hands...  an hour and a half passes, i watch several continuity and fact flaws smack me in the face several times, but i put up with it _{just kept thinking: 'Liam vs wolf! Liam vs wolf!'};  here it comes, he's in the wolf's den, tearfully going through the family photos in the wallets of his fallen comrades, and the Alpha approaches.  Liam cracks out the black electrical tape, and secures 3 mini-bottles and a hunting knife to his hands, eyes the wolf then........................
